Love v. Intellect | Meetings With the Soul

The “sane” one argued. In his inability to accept abstract as the reality of the realities. He brought along philosophers, scholars, researchers and learned men from all around the world. All of them, the best in their field, Renowned all over the world for their knowledge and wisdom. And with arrogance and pride over his knowledge and wisdom, he stood against me. For a moment the human part of me got perplexed. For he brought against me all the experienced and learned minds of the world. How was i supposed to challenge their wisdom? But then, the disciple of Shams consoled me and recited upon me the reality of wisdom, for it was nothing but a speck in front of the ocean. He explained, how the truth stand for it’s own self. It does not need elaborate discussions or arguments. For the true language of the universe is silence, all else are poor translations.

So i began to fight, and how could I have fought alone? I had excellent help. And against intellect. I made love stand. And behold! Before the very eyes of everyone, love ate all the intellect like the python of musa ate all the snakes of the magicians. So before me I saw an occurring that I could not explain. And I ran here and there in search of an explanation. So the qalandar of Lahore calmed me down. And explained a tale as old as time. “At once jumped into the fire of Nimrod, love. While with sealed lips, stood by intellect and watched.”

Why do you show frustration if the matters of the world do not turn out in your favour? Is it the from amongst the infidels who has been granted kasur or is it from amongst thee? Know that while some secrets are best left secrets, while some realities are best untold, there are however realities you must realise. Do not be deceived by the worldly wisdom and advisories. For I have seen many reach the end of the dead road and mourn. Listen to the qalandars amongst you, for they are with eyes and thee are blind. “Why should I have complain against thee? You are neither a fellow traveler nor a leader of the path” I believe the wise had heard from the wiser, qalandar had heard from the moulana, “this is your road and yours alone. Others may walk it with you but none can walk it for you” And while the fellow believers will walk it with you. The infidels will never.
