Cling to a teacher! In this wild world of fraud and deception how do you hope to get by alone? Know that there are many Shaitan waiting for you to deceive you. Without a teacher, the great imam Fakhruddin Razi couldn’t have survived. Who do you think you are?
Take heed from this, knowledge does not carry you for long enough that you may be proud over it. It will surely leave you just as it left Razi, right at your weakest point. The only way to get by is by clinging to a teacher. The great qalandar of Lahore said “Surpass the light of intellect, for this is the lamp to show the way and not the destination” Is this way supposed to be yours? No! Do not for a second dare to think that your religion is based on intellect and logical reasoning. For when my prophet said “I was a Prophet when Adam was between soul and body” Do you think logic and reasoning preceded Adam? Our prophet was crowned the king long before the terms of logic and reasoning ever existed. And thus, the All mighty begins, “This is the Book about which there is no doubt, a guidance for those conscious of Allah – Who believe in the unseen, establish prayer, and spend out of what We have provided for them” So do you say what the Kuffarsaid? Do you demand a proof so you may believe in the haq? Do you not understand that “had Allah willed, He would have made you one nation”?
Do not trade love for intellect. Love is the reality, while intellect is a delusion. A mere reflection. Do you wish to understand the reality from the reflection alone? You might get a glimpse of it, but it will be mirrored. This is the limit, beyond this, the way you will not prescribe yourself medicine for a cardiac arrest, while you may do this for a headache, in the same way beyond this do not attempt to decode the reality based on the reflection. You consult a professional for a more serious problem. Thus, consult the friend of Allah to decode the realities beyond the limitations of intellect.
